Sea You Later Trophy — Turtle Location in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy
Sea You Later hides in Chapter 3's opening beach: turn left along the shoreline, find the stranded turtle, and wait for it to reach the water. Exact steps inside.
Sea You Later! is the gentlest trophy in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy: walk up to a stranded turtle on a beach and say hello. It is hidden in the opening minutes of Chapter 3, costs about thirty seconds, and is easy to miss because the story path points inland while the turtle sits at the shore’s edge behind you.
Where the turtle is
The turtle is on the opening beach of Chapter 3, Those Before Us, sub-chapter “Paradise”:
- When the chapter begins you are standing on the sand. Turn back toward the shoreline instead of following the objective inland.
- Walk along the coast toward its far left end (as you face the sea) until you spot the turtle stranded on the sand.
- Interact with it to greet it — Sophia helps the turtle on its way.
- Wait for the turtle to reach the water before leaving. The trophy pops as it swims off (some players see it the moment the interaction cutscene ends; the safe play is to watch it go).
While you are on this stretch of beach, the Conch Shell artefact waits in the cave to the right of the large green gate just inland — one loop covers both.
Why it gets missed
Chapter 3 opens with momentum: the objective marker points up the beach toward the gate, and nothing on screen suggests the shoreline hides anything. Players who walk inland immediately never learn the trophy exists until they read a trophy list — which is why completionists running cleanup almost always have Sea You Later! waiting for them.
FAQ
Can I get Sea You Later after finishing the story?
Yes. Chapter 3 is fully replayable via Chapter Select — load Paradise, turn left at the beach, and the turtle will be waiting.
Does the interaction require anything first?
No tool, skill, or story state is needed. The turtle is available from the moment the sub-chapter starts.
Is the turtle trophy missable?
Not permanently — but within a single playthrough, yes: once you leave the opening beach there is no natural return, so it is Chapter Select or nothing if you walked past.
